Superb, bronze Skeleton Thinker, securely mounted on solid, black marble base. This extremely high, quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique is securely mounted on a solid marble base. The statue, overall, is 145 mm (5 3/4) high & weighs 0.95kgs (2lbs). The black marble base is 78 mm (3″) wide x 82mm (3 1/4 “) deep x 20 mm (2 3/4) thick. A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling. An excellent example of an adaptation of the infamous “Auguste Rodin”, “The Thinker” however it has been represented as a skeletonised adaptation with great form and detail. Making this a great gift for someone who is famous for thinking of new ideas. This bronze is signed “Milo” & carries the foundry coin.
