Stunning, “Starfish”, Pure Bronze, Signed, Art Deco, Figurine. This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique, & is securely mounted on a bespoke, stepped marble base. The statue, overall, is 465 mm (18 1/4) high, & weighs 3,3 kgs (7,3 lbs). The bespoke, stepped black marble base is 110 mm (4 3/8″) wide, x 110 mm (4 3/8″) deep at its maximum x 100 mm (4) high. A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling. A reproduction of the original, Art Deco c1925 version by Dimitri. An exquisite bronze figurine, with elaborately detailed body suite. This one is signed D. Chiparus, & also contains the bronze foundry coin.
