Stunning, pure bronze, Silvered French Art Deco, ” The Heron ” Car Mascot mounted on circular black marble base. This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique is securely mounted on a solid marble base. The statue, overall, is 195 mm (7 3/4″) high, around 160 mm (6 1/4″) wide, & weighs 0,73 kgs (1,6 lbs). The circular black marble base is 90 mm (3 1/2″) diameter x 19 mm (3/4″) thick. A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling. An excellent reproduction based upon an Art Deco c1930 version by Rene Lalique (1860 – 1945) a famous French Art Deco artist & sculptor. This one is signed “LaLique”, & carries the foundry coin.
