Superb, bronze, pair of boxing hares, securely mounted on solid, black veined marble base. This extremely high quality bronze, produced by the hot cast, lost wax technique is securely mounted on a solid marble base. The statue, overall, is 110 mm (4 1/4″) high, around 150mm (6″) wide, nose to tail, & weighs 1,3 kgs (2,9 lbs). The rectangular black marble base is 125 mm (5″) long x 78mm (3 1/8″) wide x 20 mm (3/4) thick. A stunning bronze piece, with incredible detail, adding distinction as either a centrepiece, or main attraction to any dwelling. An excellent example of a pair of Running hares with great form and detail. This bronze bears the name ” Nick” & carries the foundry coin.
